Lakota Crafters Round Green Quill Earrings by Valerie Brown Eyes
These earrings feature porcupine quills colored by clothing dye that are wrapped around raw hide. They also have glass center beads on the top and middle. They feature a metal earring hook and measure 2" in length.
Quillwork is the Lakota's first art form and was used before beads were introduced. Quilling is an anceint art wrapped on hide, either deer, elk or buffalo.
