Lakota Crafters Modern-Native Necklace by Nathan Blindman
This is a beautiful, hand crafted necklace measures 17.5" long and is strung on wire string. The beads are glass seed beads, brass seed beads, hairpipe bone and swarovski crystal.
Nathan Blindman loves to blend the new with the old putting traditional native art elements into more modern pieces. In this piece, he combines the brass and hairpipe bone of a warrior's choker necklace of chest piece and combines it with elegant swarovski crystal.
Nathan is a member of the Oglala Lakota Tribe. He was trained at an Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe. Nathan now uses his skills and experiences to encourage and train other artists on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
