Lakota Crafters Adjustable Feather Necklace by Freida Big Road
This necklace is made with a carved elk antler, It features a feather pendant, glass seed beads, hairpipe bone beads and a leather strap. It is strung on sinew. It is an adjustable necklace that can measure from 22" to 36" long.
The pendant on this necklace is made from elk antler. The beads are in the four colors of the medicine wheel: red, black, yellow and white. The four colors of the medicine wheel stand for the four directions.
Freida Big Road started making and selling bead work when she was only 12 years old. Freida is an Oglala Lakota woman who is the great granddaughter of Chief Red Cloud.
